Originally founded in 2012 in Yakutia, Russia, MYTONA has grown into one of the world’s largest mobile game publishers. MYTONA’s titles, which traditionally embrace a free-to-play model, have seen significant revenue in many markets, including the United States and Western Europe. One of MYTONA’s releases is the 2015 hidden-objects game Seekers Notes, which has perennially made top grossing rankings and continues to see success five years on.
While MYTONA’s success in pioneering puzzle games has led to consistent revenue for the company, a steady increase in competition within the category led to some concern that it would continue to need an edge to stay ahead of the pack. The MYTONA team turned to the full suite of Sensor Tower products to get a holistic view of how mobile gaming companies were dealing with long-term sustainability.
