The mobile gaming industry has seen a significant surge in consumer activity this year, as people all over the world have sought out entertainment options from the comfort of their homes. But beyond changes among consumers, mobile game publishers have also had to adjust their user acquisition strategies.
Several of the top advertisers on large ad networks such as Facebook and Adcolony are notable mobile games. With this in mind, we decided to check in with our friends at Jam City to hear more about the behind-the-scenes processes for gaming UA.

Rhiannon Price originally hails from the UK, where she started out working in the post production industry after graduating from Central St. Martins College of Art & Design with a first class honours degree. She quickly found her calling in building nimble and highly talented creative teams, from starting the UK's first ever 100% Apple based post house in Soho, London in 2006, to creating an in-house team of artists in Ogilvy Buenos Aires.
In 2012, she set sail to the U.S. to launch an agency focused on creating kick-ass marketing campaigns and content for the video game and entertainment industry. After specializing in mobile gaming with the likes of Disney, SEGA, Square Enix and PopCap to name a few, she finally flew the nest of agency life and went to the brand side at Jam City. There, she has built a robust and sprawling creative marketing department across multiple countries and services over 15 games on a multi-million dollar monthly UA budget. Her key interests in this role are optimizing the creative test workflow, making assets that make money, incorporating data science and AI and uncovering that ever elusive next top performer.
Lynn Chou is based out of Boston and began her career in the field of Marketing. While completing her studies in English and Statistics at the University of Michigan, Lynn discovered her curiosity for the online dating industry. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Dallas and joined Match Group where she evaluated TV commercial performance and analytics for properties such as Match.com, OurTime, Plenty of Fish, and OkCupid. She then returned to Michigan to complete a Master’s degree at the Ross School of Business.
During her time at Sensor Tower, Lynn has supported a mix of Enterprise technology and gaming partners, building higher engagement and customer retention. She currently manages a portfolio of Sensor Tower’s gaming & entertainment partnerships, providing strategic insights to public companies and indie developers, while helping them succeed in the mobile gaming ecosystem. Her focus is on casual games, IP licensing, and the kids education space.
